Gave us? We're not discussing the Bulls. Just the Champions from the last 3 seasons as much as it pains me to say. And the team who dumped you out of the Cup, given that they couldn't have played much worse and Wigan not much better.
As for the hiding: the giant 24-4 drubbing against a team missing 7 regulars? Oh. Yes, yes I missed that drubbing.
Excellent.

Only it does.
Because they beat you last time out in a Cup match and are the current Champions.
But you are right, nothing else needs to be said.

So, even though we butchered you in our first meeting this season, we're not capable of doing it again (purely because you scrawped a victory in our second meeting, and/or because you won something last year)?
I only hope your coach is as much of a guru as you are.

You didn't. Since I'm a Bulls fan, Wigan lost their first meeting this season against said side. Research prior to statements may help your diminishing cause.

Losing? Fair chance.

Scrawped? I see what you did there.
This is an even simpler point to conclude. The reigning Champions are the team you have delusions of beating, understandable. The same team who beat you in the last outing "scrawped" or whichever other Lancastrian indigenous word you wish to introduce to the masses.
Said same game is only for two point, not the Grand Final. But long may Phil Clarke maintain his Wigan believist flag waving.
Only to be proven wrong for the 4th year running at OT.
Brilliant.

Before last night, people were on the wire forum asking where everyone was sitting at Wembly and which tickets to get.
Perhaps they should be asking how many euro's the tickets are.
If they lose next week then lose the semi-final, the season is a new ball game.

Why does it bother you so much, Bullboy? Delusions of beating Leeds?

All I can assume is that you've confused Wigan's resurgence with Bradford's collapse.
There's no connection between the two - your club's fallen apart through crass mismanagement - so no need to blame us. Personally, I'd be glad if you were still up there, but you're not ... so you need to deal with it in more manly fashion. Hitting out blindly and pointlessly just makes you look a bit of a plank.
The rest of your post is trite nonsense. Phil Clark's views, indigenous Lancashire words etc - all totally irrelvant to my OP, and further evidence that resentful bitterness is burning a hole through you. My assertion was merely that Wigan are capable of beating Leeds well. We are because we've already proved it once this season. Nothing you've said can be taken as proof to the contrary, or even a coherent argument why this might not be so.
I'd invite you to try again, but, on the strength of what you've offered to date, I doubt we'd get too far.

| I don't think this current wigan team will suffer burnout as they look pretty fit to me, i don't really read into this working all season to hit your peak at play offs and holding back so not to peak to early.
Every team every week goes out to win, if it's game one or game twenty eight.
I think the only thing to wreck your great season is if you bottle it, threr is no doubt you've been the best team this year but it means nothing come play off time.

I agree except I'd say that history has shown that when top teams play each other anything can happen and it can go down to a foot being slightly in touch or a ball being dropped so I don't think bottling it is the only way for us not to get to the GF and win and I also don't think it would wreck our season either as we've already surpassed our pre-season expectations by playing attractive rugby, being consistent, keeping our heads up and keeping battling when we go behind.

If we lose the next two matches, it will be worrying because we will have then lost three matches on the trot. We would then have Wakey away, Hull home and Quins away as our last three regular matches. At worst we would finish 4th, more likely still 2nd. To paraphrase you, the play-offs are a new ball game.
I am sure that the coaches of the top four teams are all rotating players to keep them fit for semi finals (if there) and the play offs. A loss here or there now is not that important (in the league). We rested Morley vs Crusaders and won, we rested more against Catalans and lost. Leeds rested a couple today and beat Salford after being down at ht.
I don't think any of the top 4 will "burn out". It also doesn't look as though any of us has peaked yet, although Hull may have. We may have lost against Catalans but we beat you last week. No one was talking about peaking then.
I think there will be one or two more "shocks" in the league before the play offs. How decisive they will be remains to be seen.

If you finish top(which you will) then if you don't get to old trafford then it's got to be down to losing your bottle, tyou would have to lose 2 weeks in a row which you ain't done this year.
