Next season is fascinating. We have easily the best strength in depth in the forwards of any team in the SL era, the best coach (and a great assistant coach) in SL and a player in Sam Tomkins who would be the first name on the teamsheet of any team in SL.
I do have some concerns though - overconfidence (Saints, Leeds and Wire will be redoubling their efforts and we'll be back to the days when every Wigan away game against smaller clubs is almost that club's cup final so we'll need to be focussed and superbly fit like in the 2010 season) and the interruption to the 2011 season caused by the WCC being two primary issues. I'm also worried about whether we can keep all those good forwards happy.
That said, I'd be very disappointed if we don't finish top simply because with such a powerful squad and such a great coach it would be Wigan that lost the league leaders' shield rather than someone else winning it.
The off season will be key too - just how tough will Madge and Wane be this year?

I'd be suprised if Leeds finished top, they just about managed to finish 4th last season (could easily have been 5th but for Lee Radford getting sent off against them in the final game), they're losing their coach on top of that and transfers don't look too promising either. I don't think they'll go into complete meltdown but can't see them doing better than last season. |

I can see Wigan winning it quite easily to be honest. Massively better at both halfback and in the pack. Brett Hodgson will be a great addition for us and hopefully we'll see us start to reap the benefits of our improved youth set-u under John Bastian.
