If you have it on 7" 45 rpm vinyl and want an mp3 out of it, or a cd, then pm me. I'm sure we can sort it easily, so long as you aren't looking to press thousands of cds!

Don't think his gramophone does MP3's.

| I have uncle joes mint balls song which is what the tune is taken from on a tape as some of our friends were in Lancashire folk band that did it if that's any good? Other than that the sheet music for the song is on the uncle Joes website maybe some fans could get together and do a new version-prob very far fetched idea but just throwing it out there!

| If an MP3 got sorted, it could then be passed on to the club to see if they would play it pre and/or post match.
Would be great to hear the us all belting it out.
Always admired the way Rhinos fans all sing 'Marching on Together', though they lose points for nicking it off the football.

| Quote Th'Observer="Th'Observer"I too have this on vinyl and scoured the internet for ways to put it onto CD, a few years ago, and didn't find any practical solutions. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough I don't know?
'"
There are USB record players out there, which are designed for the purpose of transferring your vinyl collection onto MP3 or other digital format.
Last one I looked at was about £100 though, so they're a but pricey.

| There are plenty musicians out there. Who fancies having a go at updating the lyrics and putting a new version out? Doesn't have to be an official club release does it?

| Not 100% on all the words, I've had to guess a few, especially some of the players mentioned, but roughly speaking:
There is a place in Wigan, it's known as Central Park,
Where legends such as Ashton, Gee and Boston made their mark,
Our boardrooms full of trophies, this year we'll win some more,
And every team knows what we mean when they hear the Wigan roar.
[iChorus[/i
Wigan Rugby Club, best in all the land,
Marching on to Wembley, and singing with the band,
At home we are unbeatable, away we are supreme,
So give us a cheer, the lads are here, the Wigan rugby team.
Our players are invinsible, their talent is the best,
With Hanley, Edwards, Wayne and Gill, Goodway, Case and West,
Dermott, Bell and Lydon, to mention but a few,
The greatest rugby football team, oh Wigan we love you!
[iChorus[/i
Our squad it is a mixture, of international skill,
From all 4 corners of the world, a team that's bound to thrill,
There's Aussis, Kiwis, Africans, Welsh and Scottish too,
When they're out there on the park, They're Wigan through and through.
[iChrous[/i
Although the game is tough and hard, the crowd is good as gold,
Happy family atmosphere, safe for young and old,
So come on down and join the crowd, within our famous walls,
We're more well known then Wigan Pier, or Uncle Joe's mintballs.
[iChorus[/i

Would sound awesome being sung around the stadium!
