last night in the heat of things i said i hoped he had done his knee, just so he missed the rest of the playoffs, maybe some minor damage, but in hindsight a petulant thing to say. there is an element of Karma, if he hadnt have cheated he probably wouldnt have got the injury. 8 months is a long time and it will be interesting to see if he comes back the same player. i do have an element of sympathy but not on the scale as i had for peacock. dont like him as a player and his antics last night were disgraceful but he didnt deserve that injury.

I thought it was when he was on his way down after he grabbed him but I haven't watched it back

It looks like just before he grabs at carmont his knee buckled under him but had enough time to grab out at carmont

Hope it was worth it Danny..Leeds won the game but that incident has virtually denied them any chance of winning the GF now

Shouldnt of pulled Carmont back then.. at least we wont have to watch him playing for England again this winter

TBH he deserved punishing for the nature of what he did but 8 months out is sickening. He might never be the same when he comes back either. Hope he has a full recovery.

Never like to see a player get injured and this is no exception.



I wish McGuire a speedy recovery. He has been in superb form the back end of this season and would have been in my Four Nations squad. In my opinion, he has carried Leeds since the injury to Peacock.
