Last week Huddersfield looked like world beaters. scoring 50 points against Bradford. This week they were relatively clueless when they came up aginst a well organised defence.



Yesterday, Warrington looked even more like world beaters, scoring over 80 points - but as with Huddersfield, was this more to do with the inept Quins defence rather than the sheer brilliance of Warrington.



It will be a totally different ball game on Friday - let's hope the history of the previous few games repeats itself and the Warrington points machine flounders when it comes up against Wigan's defence.



Quietly optimistic about a narrow Wigan victory - just hope there are no controversial referee decisions or VR howlers! Or if there are, Wigan are the beneficiaries for a change!

I think Warrington by 8, but I thought Hudds would beat us to be fair. It would be a good time for Maguire's Wigan to start winning big home games!

I think either us by 2-6 points or Wire by 6-18.

Interesting assessment.....Not sure on the 'who's had the best preparation' argument....Wigan have had 2 tough games, possibly hardening them up for this big 1, or, perhaps, wearing them out?....Wire have had 2 training sessions-style matches, possibly keeping them fresh, or, instead, blunting their match fitness?



As for the forwards argument, I know I'm biased, but I wouldn't back against Wire's pack dominating ANY side....Personally, if Wire stop Tomkins getting involved to a full extent, then I'd just side with an away win.



Whatever happens, it'll be a close one, 1 score between them, either way.

I just think we'll edge it if our defence holds out, like at Hudds, or we'll lose by a few if we play like we did against Hull.
