I understand your point, but on many of the other RL fans sites this has been a point of discussion / anger for at least the last year by opposition fans, and more than a few are pleased to see that the tactics failed, so take the opportunity to come on the 'gloat' thread to do just that.....



Anyway I've said my piece.

Opinions should have at least some basis in fact. No one sent off this year until Flower. Leeds have 2, Saints 1 as do several others. People saying they are pleased Wigan lost because the team is thuggish are being stupid. It's the pot calling the kettle black.

Flower punching someone has nothing to do with tactics or the way Wigan play. There is no part of our strategy that involves smacking someone in the opening 2 minutes of a game. You're just bending it to fit your own narratives. He lost his head, it happens to players from time to time. It's not like Westwood's seemingly premeditated punch in last years game.

But there is a reason that fans of all other clubs have a disliking for Wane and the way he gets Wigan playing. We can't all be wrong and just throwing accusations.



I thought Wane got his cummupance big time this evening and I think the whole of rugby league is happy with who won tonight because of Wane and his culture at Wigan.

I've looked at this closely through this year and last.

It's not just 'jumping on a bandwagon' or anything like that.



There are so many good aspects of Wigan's play - blitzgreig attack, very fast wingers, strong defence - but I really dislike that aspect. It's not what I call league and not why I go to watch rugby.



It really annoys fans of other clubs that you get away with it so much
