| really can't see the point tbh. Granted the capacity at Widnes isn't enough, but both Anfield and Goodison are way too big for a regular league game.
I was a bit disappointed with the penrith game (apart from the result) the view from the first row on the half way line had my eyes at pitch level, not a great view.

| Anfield and Goodison are both utter crapholes and it would be empty. They would be better off playing it at the reebok stadium.

| That Kemlyn Road stand at Liverpool is one of the worst I have ever sat in.
No thank you.

| Would prefer it at a ground we actually have a chance of filling. We probably wouldnt get any higher than 15-20,000 at either stadium which wouldnt even be half full.

| Goodison makes more sense. All you have to do is follow the East Lancs, and you're there.

| If it had to be the 2 scouse grounds then Liverpool is better for for facilities etc but Everton would produce the best atmosphere. Athough I would not want to sit in the regular away end! Its a hovel with wooden seats and a view!!

| I would suggest they would only have to open both sides only, doing away with the "football away end".

| Why play the game at either Anfield or Goodison? Don't we have enough grounds closer to both clubs to accommodate the game? At the end of the day Saints are playing their "home" games at Widnes next season, so people will just have to make sure their get their ticket early enough. Besides where we play them as long as we beat them!

Its about forward thinking and marketing the game to non rugby fans, Widnes I beleive holds 13k, would it be better to play on bigger stage if more fans wanted to attend?.
IIRC have Saints played at Anfield before against Cas, perhaps Bilko could confirm this and what was the crowd figure.
