My first season tickets were there sat with my mam & dad. Had them for about 10 years until health and bl**dy safety rule. 25 yard line popular side scoreboard end.

I spent many many happy hours on the steps of the hen pen. i remember it well, the smell of winter green wafting from the dressing room (FROM HENDERSON GILLS LEGS) up the tunnel to were i was stood. The the sudden surge of kids (one myself) jumping onto the tunnel wall a couple of mins before the players were due out. And then it started the music blasted out MARCH OF THE GLADIATORS and out they came. GOOD TIMES INDEED.

obviously i remember it...and i remember climbing over the wall to get into the pop stand and a fat unfit steward trying to chase about 10 of us at once...............happy days

he is correct...it was on the left hand side of the tunnel(as they ran out), with the scoreboard on the other side of the tunnel

I made my debut in the "pen" nearer to the Souvenir hut.



A wall seperated my pen from the "hen-pen".



There were 3 "pens" in total, 2 of which were astride the tunnel.

I was a season-ticket holder for the ringside in 1964.
