There was enough trouble at the Wire Saints game the other week to make a few Saints fans hope that Wigan got to the final. A few fans got attacked on their way back to their coaches, including one who was with his young child.



We won that game btw.

I particularly liked the chap getting his 4/5 year old little girl to give Wigan fans the finger as the coaches passed, NICE.

Can't see it - Wigan had your number second half and the players should have all the motivation they need on Friday provided Noble picks the right team. Your players have a nice distraction at the end of August, wouldn't be surprised if they ease up for a few weeks and try to avoid getting a few injuries - not very often a Warrington player gets a chance like this and the window of opportunity for success is towards the end given the ages of your key players. If you lose to Wigan on Friday, your playoff hopes are all but over given the remaining fixtures for your rival clubs - so the final will be the obvious focus from here on in.

We had 6 or 7 wire fans in front of us, they were in West Stand row 15 around seats 125/126 ish, thoroughly decent blokes, came to watch the match, shook hands after the game so there are some of them who were OK.



Unfortunately in row 14 in front of these guys we also had the s, tanked up, looked about 15, 2-pint special forces operators.......... you know the type. They just wanted to fight anybody. At one point the stewards got involved, after a Wigan dad whose daughter was being repeatedly abused threatened to break someones legs and I think the main knobead realised at this point it was behave, get ted, or get thrown out, and mellowed a little. I generally found the wire fans today pretty obnoxious, apart from the row in front of us who were gents.



Same old wire fans - nothing much changes does it - I remember the old days at Central Park and the running battles in the street outside the Griffin post match - why is it always them?
