il be getting to work on Monday morning probably rough as hell and logging on to this site to read the latest offerings and unfortunately will probably stumble over the two semi final results and even at that my interest will be absolutely minimal! Many thanks for asking though

I'll be sat with my Catalan girlfriend and the Catalans fans at Widnes with my Senyera. I'll be sat there hoping to see the Catalans one more time this season, preferably on the 28th August down London way.

Going slightly off topic. Catalonia only borders France so the Catalan Dragons team isn't actually in Catalonia at all is it?

I'll be sitting at home 6 points clear.

I will be watching under 20`s , fekka, amos and ocarroll are playing .so deffo worth the £4 admission fee.

Must be hard to take this weekend being a Wigan fan.



Watching the likes of Leeds, Saints and Warrington trying to catch up with you in terms of trophies.



On another note who’ll be the team to overtake Wigan as the most successful team of all time by the end of this century!

To be honest it's not. Not for me anyway. If we were 2nd in the table I would be but being 6 points clear and seeing your play off rivals still sweating on not only league but cup as well could work out to be a huge blessing for us in terms of the league. We won't know though till 8pm on October 2nd,

[iTrying[/i being the operative word. Given that there are 90 years left in the centuary i suspect that when it ends i wont be around to find out who is the most successful team ever so i'll just enjoy the fact that we are in 2010.



As for this weekend, working as usual. I'll find time to watch the recording when i finish.

Correct me if I’m wrong but was 2006 the last time someone won both the challenge cup and the super league in the form of St Helens?



Since then Saints have won the challenge cup in 07,08 and appeared in the grand final only to fall to Leeds. I think them two years have created the myth more than ever that a good challenge cup run hinders your grand final chances.



Leeds have helped that myth further by having a bad challenge cup run as well. Wigan are the same this year in terms of the cup run and looking to win the championship.



It’ll be interesting to see if this years challenge cup winners can go on to win the super league grand final as 3 of the 4 semi finalist have a chance of doing so.



Either way if Leeds don’t retain the championship this year it’ll be for the good of the game but I just can’t see it. My theory on Wigan is you’ve improved you’re league form but come play off time there’s a good chance you’ll be exposed as the third best team in the country once again.
