| Quote Horatio Yed="Horatio Yed"Simple rule changes from next season.
1. home team always wears home strip
2. Away team always brings both kits
Simple'"
Or, just follow the RFL directive at all games, no 'requesting' to wear your alternate kit, why did Hudds want to change to white anyway when their home kit is claret, if they had just worn the kit instructed by the RFL none of this would have happened. As for taking both kits to away games, who, and when, would decide which kit is to be used ?, what time would the decision be made ?, 1 hour before ko, 2 maybe, by the ref (if he's arrived in time), by an RFL official (who would just follow the directive anyway), would this apply to the Challenge Cup Final ?, plus it would mean carrying 4 kits to all games, 1 home plus 1 spare home kit (blood bins, rips etc), 1 away plus 1 away spare. Stick to the RFL directive and its simple.

| Quote goobervision="goobervision"And what happens when both teams are playing in a neutral ground? You seem to have missed this from the rule change.

It wasnt a neutral ground, so to speak. It was Huddersfield's home league game played at an alternate venue due to the fact their regular stadium was unavailable.

| This game should have either
A be abandoned
B be played when Castleford got someone to get the tops to Halifax
Had it have been a football game it would not have been played

It has happened in football and not too long ago as well, however don't think they ever made the mistake for a televised game.

| Having just got back from France yesterday afternoon, I flicked the SKY game on midway through the 2nd half, I must admit I was confused as hell as to why Cas were playing in Halifax's kit and the game was at Halifax...??!!!
One thing's for sure, it won't done Halifax's chances of a SL license any harm. The stadium looked great and gave us a preview of what could be in the future.

At Cas this season Cas wanted to wear their AWAY shirt when at home to maximise sales as it had just come out. The Giants agreed on the condition they could wear their away shirt at the corresponding match. This was agreed with CAs and the RFL. It was confirmed to them in may of this year. The RFL then updated their website to state CATEGORICALLY that the kits for this game would be HUDDERSFIELD ALTERNATIVE, CAS PRINCIPLE.
Cas got it wrong and did not bring their other kit so were forced to change.
