Injuries or no injuries that attack and defence in the second half was woeful. To go from 20points up to lose in that fashion is utterly unforgivable.

In my opinion massive mistake to not move Tommy to 7 and use Shorrocks as at 9 in that second half.

Edwards, personally think we were superb until Sammutt went off, then dire. I still don't see what Edwards has said to attract such venom. He didn't say the person who failed the drug test was " ill"

We got a bit of a caning in the second half by the ref for penalties. But we should not be losing a game after being 20 points up.

Our goal line defence set up is atrocious, 2 tries in that second half game because Hardaker was A defender and B defender was miles away, happened twice.

Do you honestly think that would have changed the result?

Poor defence and character for me but no real surprise in the result

Absolutely shambolic that second half. No leadership on or off the field. To drove to our line and basically fall over it to score is embarrassing for a professional club.

The combination of Shorrocks and TL at 7 and 9 didn’t work.



I don’t see why after 20 minutes of watching this and watching Cas dominate we didn’t mix it up.



Would we have won? Who knows.



All I do know is we lost with that system in the second half.

6 tries all (forget the last one). A full pack missing in Clubb, Powell, Flower, Hamlin, Farrell, Lockers. Then losing Sammut and Greenwood (did Dom stay on?). All in all another step in the right direction.

What a shambles of a 2nd 40. Say what we want about injuries and luck but that 2nd 40 was down to attitude. Pi$$ poor attitude.

Turning point in the game Sammut going off we looked good with him on the field not coming back was a substitution less and then Greenwood going off another substitution less .Cas battered us down the middle with their big forwards who incidentally could be substituted not like our light weight pack who had to loads of tackling. Something has to give its not Lams fault he has not the players to work just look at the Cas forwards compared to ours,tommy played 80 mins
