Pryce has no chance of being picked if Roberts is fit, Richards is fit and Phelps rediscovers his form. His work rate is poor and when he runs the ball back from deep, my 75 year old mother-in-law could tackle him. He did well for Carmonts try and made one good tackle, but what else did he do. I hope he can prove to be a potent weapon for us but i still feels he is a long way short of where he should be. |

Fair points, but he's made massive improvements since last season. If he does continue to improve, he could still be a good 'un, IMO. |

Big call in my opinion. When Roberts returns I hope he takes the fullback shirt full time, both we as a team and he as a player seem to perform best when he is used at a specialist 1.
One Wing spot is sown up with Richards, so I would hope that the other wing spot is up for grabs with Goulding/Pryce/Phelps/Ainscough all fighting it out for a spot.
Phelps for me is the ex incumbent starting player who is now under most pressure to perform. |
