Maybe but perhaps it might get taken for granted if we did. What is certainly true though is it really does show the heritage and history the club has. I think we forget that too easily sometimes as we focus on this years CC, GF or whatever the next competition is. As we are successful again we can look back and bask in a history no one can match without being accused of living in the past. All those trophies such as the Lancashire Cup, CC, SL trophy and the WCC trophy form 1994 on the pitch at the same time represent a history any club would die for.

I really enjoyed it, a lot of the ex players looked really proud to be there too.

I thought it was very good and great to see players like Skerrett and Cowie! The bloke near me in the East Stand loved it too, was very amusing to watch

Was amazing being stood at the bottom of the south and hearing people singing along. Even joined in myself!

Entry of the gladiators, or "the circus music" as my 8 year old called it, was awesome.

The NRL have a heritage round and even play in retro style shirts for that week. Would be another marketing opportunity to have a limited edition heritage shirt on sale every year.
