Nice article today with Jackson Hastings putting to bed all rumours of him staying at Salford or going back to the NRL.
Hope this ends all the worries and silliness.
Everything points to both Jackson and Zak being in cherry and white next season after all.

Im a bit concerned about this 1 year deal as it now seems. Don't get me wrong, hes a great player and I cant wait to see him play for us, but chopping and changing half backs every year isn't a situation we want to be in.

That's always been the deal; that's why we signed him, Leeds wouldn't offer him an NRL get out clause. I agree with you, but in his latest interview Jackson said he's 'over Australia now', he's happy in SL and if he's settles at Wigan we could see him here for the foreseeable future; nobody knows.

The pessimistic side of me has noticed that since his signing a few months ago he has yet to acknowledge the fact he has indeed signed for us.
Whilst at Salford quite rightly refrained from doing so, I can understand that, right up to the point of the Grand Final. This is to be commended, nothing worse than an outgoing player waving a scarf around of a rival team.
Then he goes off to play for GB, again I can understand him wanting to do well for them. But in the article above not mentioning that he's looking forward to next season as well with his new club Wigan?
Not even a jot about us yet (or at least I've yet to see anything).
Like I said.... Pessimism. Just hope my gut feel is wrong.
