Got to agree there. The player was motionless on the ground so if he'd wanted to stamp on him, he'd have stamped on him. May have been an attempt to provoke a reaction, who knows, but he's not the first player to have done that in the game!

I think Lauaki is vying for the fourth prop spot along with Dudson and Crosby. At the moment I would have him just behind Crosby but ahead of Dudson in that fight for that place.



Providing they are fit I expect Mossop, Flower and Taylor to be first three.

I'd pick Crosby, wouldn't be against Lauaki (although worried about his temperament) but think Wane will go with Dudson.



Dudson just always looks like someone who needs a kick up the backside to me.

Agree, Dudson worries me defensively, he gets caught on the ground too often and Houghton would have fun from dummy half. Also some fans complain about Lauakis discipline, but Dudson is much worse.

Dudson channels his aggression in the wrong way, getting involved in pushing and shoving and slanging matches against other numpties like LMS.



He needs to focus his aggression on his job, running hard and tackling hard, no more and no less. He runs at half pace most of the time and I'm surprised Wane has as much time for him as he does.
