We are realists over this side of the lump, unlike you lot who let a Grand Final win persuade them that no-one could possibly get close! Had Jamie Foster had his touchline kicking boots on we would have nicked the full two points from you and boy that really would have been something!

Still, given all our disruption lately, the one point was pleasing enough. It's certainly caused all manner of strife on these boards.
But back to the thread ...
I saw what FearTheVee saw but whether it was a chicken wing or some other form of equally dangerous tackle I do not know. The RFL will sort that one out. If the tackle on Soliola was worse than that on Wilkin then it's possible Lima will get a ban. But if it wasn't, or if the RFL decide that neither was dangerous enough to be dangerous, he'll get one of the RFL's infamous warning letters.
I think Wilkin was spot on to report the incident as he saw/felt it. Player safety is far more important than any mythical code of silence (which is bollox anyway since as others have said there have been players reporting on other players for years). As evidenced by the Wire match on Saturday, ours is a dangerous game anyway. It is just plain stupid to allow deliberately dirty play to make it more so. And men who think Wilkin less of a man for having the balls to stand up for any number of players who could be at risk of unnecessary injury are not worthy of respect.
