As far as I know the RFL pay for every team to travel to france?

I wonder if the scroungers will be tapping catalan up for some gate money like they have done with every club they've travelled to.

Ironic that the club who lost its best players to admin and started the season from a standing start, is battling for the 8th spot against a club that has bankrupt itself paying players it couldn't afford and hasn't lost a single one of them; add to that the fact that the sports governing body is paying those players, and it becomes a story you couldn't make up.

Obviously different scenarios but it is odd that it was the entirety of the coaching staff that was made redundant to reduce the wage bill rather than selling assets (ie. players) to lower said wage bill and bring in some additional funds on top.
