Have to say the report was quite negative and full of wild judgements. They reckoned that 800 cars would have to be parked on the street on derby days and only Wakefield fans would use the Shuttle buses.



Made me laugh when they commented on the bike racks, the planning people in this country are staggering

The highways agency are still unhappy with the travel plan and so cannot agree any conditions until the have that in place.

So have minded the council to reject the application for at least 6 months.



GUTTING

I think they can lift the order as soon as they are satisfied, it does not have to be 6 months - you never know it may be a matter of days/weeks.



If it's still in place on the 22nd it won't be good news.

Could they not override it with the special circumstances and then insert a condition that Full PP cannot be applied for until the HA are satsified.

This is not good news. I was speaking to somebody who is in the know on the council recently and they seemed very positive about it going ahead but they were not sure about fitting it in to our timescale.

Better hope the CSR saves our bacon on the 20th.

I think it is a legal notice under The Highways Act 1980 and the council cannot overide it - I may be wrong though.

I have just spoken to TRB, he's on a site and cannot get online at this moment in time.
