Has he been farmed out and I've missed it?

I thought he could go well and showed some decent signs last season.

I dont think he is in this country.............then again nearly all the squad arent either!

Issac John is currently in Portugal with the rest of the squad , where he fits into the plans I do not know.

Sykes and Smith where else will he fit? He was so dissapointing last year people telling us he was a upcoming star didn't show nothing to me he was slow, poor at kicking threw the odd good pass thats about it.

There was a rumour Salford were interested until their problems. If they get resolved it'd be interesting to see what happens.....

Happy with what i saw from John. Yes there were improvements needed but same could be said for the entire team in the early to mid season.

I saw him in the crowd at the Leeds game on boxing day and judging by his squad number he's here to fight for his place and is seen as a backup half back.



If he isn't playing through not been selected as a pose to injury, does he run the risk of not having next years work permit renewed? I thought an overseas player had to play a certain percentage of games to get a work permit for the following year, with games missed through injury being taken into account.

In Tim Smith's interview he talks about him, Sykes, John and Goulding all working well together.

Its unfortunate that Sykes has taken his role, primarily because of the kicking but its handy to have John as the back up if we need him. Most teams at our level would be putting an inexperienced kid in.

Bugger off with this again!! This rumour started on here by a couple of members, nothing has ever come from Salford about this, just a rumour that needs putting to bed! Hes your problem not ours!!
