It would be a matter of agreement between the two clubs, depending on how much the club receiving the player needs him. Wigan want game time for Ainscough, and he was getting it elsewhere, and so Wigan had the upper hand in the agreement.

I'd suggest that it's something to be decided by the clubs,don't think it's a Super league rule that you can't play against your parent club,more a case of not wanting the loaned out player coming back and biting you on the a$se!!!

And we according to some will be paying some of Cookes wage, if that is the case he won't be playing against us

You wont be paying all of his wages or there is no point loaning him out in the first place.

It may well be around half each or a slightly larger portion paid by Trinity !

They have Newtons wage spare, i assume he will take that and we will make up the shortfall. A small price to pay to get rid

That seems a bit harsh though. As a fan surely you liked having him in the squad just as back up if needed and to win you the local derby matches !
