It's much more to do with sending Tronc "home" with a positive message about how the club dealt with his family predicament.



Imagine how hard we would find it to recruit future high profile imports if we had failed to be supportive of him through this.

My point was about the image the club present of themselves - this is their only concern here and the only element of the whole thing they can control positively.



The image Tronc has built for himself is his issue. I'm sure you aren't the only person with a rather negative opinion of him, though I doubt he is bothered by that.



The bottom line is that the Wildcats have been seen to do all they can to support an overseas player with problems. It can't hurt in the clubs future efforts to sign players from Oz.

I thought that was just a rumour that came from one person,but even so if it was a housing problem or what ever you would think it would be fairly easy to sort out especially if it was part of the contract in the first place.

As much as I can see both viewpoints, I tend to side with this one. Homesick missus or not, he'll walk into the Brisbane squad and we'll watch him on the telly, grumbling.
