| and apparently Guillfoyle (or whatever he's called) is going to speak with the Rugby League to seek assistance in fulfilling their game with London at the weekend - they shouldn't be throwing any MORE money at that club, like the poor kids who emptied their piggy banks a month ago did.

| Quote sandaltrinityfan="sandaltrinityfan"Would any Bradford player really want to come to Wakefield? I have serious doubts about some of the players mentioned. Sykes may be enjoying it here so he may be ok, Elima MAY want to return for nostalgic reasons, and of course, if the money is good enough; but others mentioned on here, I can't see other than them setting their sights on a club, more successful than we are at the present time.'"
Why wouldn't they want to, they're already playing for a average side in Bradford atm and it's not as if the sides full of world beaters who are out if our league is it.

Because they have mortgages to pay and most of the "big" clubs won't have much space under the cap?

| Exactly there are only so many clubs to play for so we would have a good chance of signing some of them.

| Why is it that the Bulls administration is being handled so differently to ours??
It appeared that our administrator was far more aggressive and ruthless than the Bulls affair is being handled

| Quel surprise, the RFL are going to stump up the cash to pay the Bradford players, or that's what the fans were told.
"Derisory" offers have been turned down for players - not sure we got the going rate for Ferguson or Murphy. If he's sacking Megan Potter from the ticket office and letting members pay again on the gate, he should be grabbing every penny he can get for players, which would further offload the wage bill.

As I read it, the RFL will advance a central payment which they would have been due but later in the season. It's a good way of ensuring they get through July, but of course that will be one less payment for the new company. What a mess!

With our case the administrator firstly made sure he covered his costs with the sale of Ferguson and Obst, with Bradford it makes you wonder who is guaranteeing his costs, because if no players are released this week to a) relieve the cost burden b) bring in funds, then you know that some pre-pack deal has been done. Guilfoyle unlike O'Hara's deal on a different level.
It takes one to know one!!

Guilfoyle was accompanied at the fans meeting held on Monday evening by sports lawyer David Hinchcliffe.

| I cannot think that the meeting with the players tomorrow will be fruitful for the fringe & the older players as they will have trim down the wages straight away.
Hopefully the Bulls fans will help the club by attending what is probably the clubs worst income game of the season this weekend. They will be looking for a 10,000 plus attendance & with emotions running high I think they should achieve it.

Take your point but the 'bigger clubs' always seem to have big caps don't they?
