They must surely get at the very least a points deduction and only avoid relegation if the pay their creditors in full. If they escape any punishment then the game will be shown up to be obviously bent and I for one will walk away never to return. What is the point if is not going to at least pretend its a level playing field?

It would be good if Michael could clarify what exactly we were told at the time and what his views on this comparative situation are, after all he was involved, we are just adding up the numbers and assuming they are right.

If only Michael Carter had waited one more day before releasing the news that BV’s capacity had been cut. It would’ve been a good day to bury a bad news story.

The problem with walking away is that, it will only damage Wakefield Trinity.

Avoiding Iconic Odsal seems to be a more tempered response.



The penalty (or lack of it) will give a strong indication of the RFL's comment about "no safe teams" from relegation.

Many of the more cynical ones amongst us, believe that London, Catalan, Bradford and Salford would not be "allowed" to be relegated from SL and certainly, a lack of a points deduction here, would back up these thoughts.

So are the players free agents?
