There are some cotton long sleeved shirts in the new range but unfortunately they won't be here until January.

It is noted. I'm not saying the macron stuff will be brilliant but it's a first stab. It's very difficult to take risks with stuff from other companies when you have to spend a minimum of 107000 with macron each year and turn it into profit

So you pay Macron £107,000 minimum this year, at £45 per shirt, you have to sell 2,400 shirts to make a profit? How many did you sell last year?

That's alot of shirts. May make a profit due to all the Macron range we sell.

That includes all retail as well. We have to buy a minimum of 2500 shirts. Last year we sold around 1800?

1800 seems like a good number of shirts to have shifted, certainly more than I would have guessed at, Well done the club.

What will be done with the excess stock from last year? Have you considered a fire sale, like a couple of years back - happened in the belle vue car park and shirts were being sold off at a heavily discounted price.



Im sure some would argue that it may detract people from buying this years stock which I guess is a fair point., but this would at least ensure stock that the club have paid for is not sat gathering dust and cobwebs

Depends on the price i guess. If they are sold off at, say, a fiver then i doubt it would put anybody off buying a new shirt if thats their plan, they would probably just get the old one as an extra. If its much more than that then they probably just wouldn't bother with the old one. Anybody who comes down only for the five pound sell off probably has no intention of getting a £45 shirt anyway. Although all of a sudden you have them on site with money in their pockets and xmas coming up and a bit of hard sell...
