I can't believe WTW fans are admitting not paying their entrance fees to Trinity in this forum when we all know the club is struggling financially and needs every penny.

I kept moving round in the ground so it probably looked like there were more than were actually there.

I thought the same. Poor effort guys.

Season ticket holders were being recorded on a tally chart where I went in. Very 21st century.

Solution appears simple. All entry to be via a turnstyle. Entry to cats bar to be via the steps within the ground.

Way I read the post is the bloke and his lad walked through and into the ground without someone checking they had tickets for the game. Not that he didn't have or had paid for tickets.

We are season ticket holders...not counted and surrounded by people coming from the ground into Cats.



If they paid cash at the turnstile, how does the guy on the door know the difference between them and someone who just walked straight through Cats bar?

Very strange coming into the ground yesterday.

We are season ticket holders and when we came into the Cat's bar (through the main entrance) we were told that we would have to "get a

ticket" from one of the other entrances before we would be allowed into the ground.

So I went out of the Cat's Bar and went in to the ground at the side of the main stand and asked for a ticket but, was told that I didn't need one and

carried on to the Cats Bar from inside the ground.

I then asked the guy on the door if I would be ok to get back into the ground from the Cats bar with just my season ticket and he confirmed that I could.



When we finally went out of the Cats Bar, I actually asked the guy about the numbers going through and he said "it's ok I'm keeping count" ????



There are 2 definite glitches from yesterday:



The first one only impacts on attendance numbers but there would be nothing to prevent someone leaving the ground with a handful of tickets (or cards)

and coming back in with some freeloaders.



I understand that there weren't scanners at every entrance point but, the last thing anyone wants, is folk not paying to get in.

Doncaster Road turnstile up from Conservative club the guy on the gate just glanced at season cards and waved you through.

I also think more than 5300!

You should have to have a ticket at the entrance to Cats bar, not the steps to the ground.

Seems from all this anecdotal evidence that lots of ticket holders are not going through the turnstiles and are not counted. Not sure if it really matters if they have paid but low crowd figures are often used to ridicule the club and suggest we don't deserve to be in the super league

The issue is not necessarily ST holders, but those who walk into Cats for free, then realise they can just walk into the ground, by claiming they entered Cats from the ground, having paid cash at a turnstile.
