One of the RL Facebook pages are saying CC is looking down under for a player/players. How can we work this with our current quota? Forgive me I'm unsure of the present rules.

Yeah...he was quality in the NRL but only managed 1 game for Cas last season.

Wow, Cas fans will be in uproar based on what I saw over on there forum the other day, he`s played half a game for them in all the time he has been there hasn't he? Must be on some money as well.

Yeah I think so but if it is a 'season ending injury' I think they can just de-register him like they did with Gale a couple of seasons back and he then gets paid by the RFL or their insurers ??

I think the club still pay the wages, they just don't count against the salary cap. |

If a player's injured before the season kicks off, and is ruled out for the year then clubs can apply to have them taken off the cap. Cas did it with Gale, Hull KR with Masoe and there was another one recently as well I can't remember who. |
