The simple fact is that he got asked a question, which he answered truthfully and honestly. Regardless of that, this would have still come out. He answered a question he didn't have to answer knowing it would be used by people opposing the Wakefield community stadium. He knew what he was doing and how it would be used in the PI.

Of course he is sticking his snout in, you make it sound like he was casually asked a question. He took the time out to write a letter giving (very dubious) evidence against the ground development. He knew exactly what he was doing…getting involved in a campaign to stop a fellow RL club getting much needed facilities. These are top class facilities that we are trying to bring to the game of RL and he obviously decided its not in his clubs interests (I wonder why?). The guy should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute.
