| I know that we may not have a totally balanced view on here regarding the Bulls situation, but the support that they have received from all quarters is staggering.
Pledge money, advences from the RFL, cash donations from Leeds and Warrington and staff working for nowt.
Will there be some kind of decision/announcement today ?

| there will be an announcement of an extension today, thats for sure.
if the RFL are assuring the players will get paid until the end of the season there is no need to rush anything through, as just about everyone else at the club was made redundant and are working for nothing.
been going on too long for me. Guillfoyle will be ringing their hands in pleasure. they will be getting paid (from somewhere / someone - usually out of clubs coffers - probably the advance from the rfl) so they can sit back a little, probably until end of november.

| Quote Wakefield No 1="Wakefield No 1"Quote Wakefield No 1Meanwhile, RFL chiefs yesterday assured all Bradford Bulls players they will be paid until midnight on November 30 — no matter what happens to their club in the next few days.
Crisis-hit Bulls were recently handed a six-point deduction for entering administration and now sit outside the Super League play-off places in ninth.'"
Light the touchpaper and off it goes...'"
Yet some on the Bulls forum think they have been victimised by the RFL over the 6 point deduction and rejection of the initial ABC bid.
To be fair the RFL have been complicit in this whole mess so perhaps they feel obligated to push the boat out with their support. Hopefully the better paid players will help out those who are working for nothing.

| I know this is mischief making but, when we were in trouble, the dreaded "m" word was muted.
As the Bulls are struggling and Fax want a place in SL, Why is there no talk of a takeover or merger, after all the 2 grounds are in closer proximity than ourselves and Cas ?

The RFL have since said that they won't pay the players wages beyond August.
I expect that if a deal can't be brokered, one or two of the crown jewels may need to be flogged so they can see out the season.

| i don't like the way that the rfl are paying the wages to protect the squad and keep it together but wouldn't do likewise for us.
however perhaps they're doing this BECAUSE it stiffed us, and have learnt the lessons of the way they dealt with us?

| So we know that the RFL are paying the wages on a full salary cap bill. Can we assume that the rent cost for the Iconic Odsal Stadium are been waived by the RFL?

Interesting article, the bulls acting chairman wants to know where they stand so investors can decide what to do. I presume this statement has prompted the meeting today. It should very intersting what happens next, a vote? Bulls in or out?

Well, it looks like the RFL agree with a large number of Wakey fans regarding the similarities between each clubs problems .

The difference being that our prospective new owner went to the RFL with two business plans, proof of funds and no unreasonable conditions attached to his proposal.
Perhaps the ABC consortium have less interest in saving the Bulls and rather more in getting their hands on a piece of prime real estate?
