Wakefield Express reporting that our favourite council leader has narrowly survived a vote of 'no confidence' from the Labour Group on the council. I hope he doesn't go before he delivers the Community Stadium.

I reckon Tricky will go to Wakefield Rural which will adopt a large area of the old Hemsworth constituency, and the sitting Barnsley East MP will take the new Barnsley East & Hemsworth seat, Prince. Whoever does take responsibility for Belle Vue will probably not advocate a revamping of the ground. By the time of the next GE, Trinity will have probably been told by Super League that they're gonna occupy a Championship place.

During todays council meeting, Mr Box was asked about the community stadium, he explained that MC asked him not to mention it due to ongoing discussions but he could provide council with an update next week....
