If Cas get a franchise do they really need the hype though? Cas are potentially on the verge of in relative terms for them a golden generation. They need to move forward not back and I would be stunned if they felt Kear would be progression.

Clearly running out of options after not getting the other jobs he applied for so with D day approaching and no new contract with us on the horizon, he finally decides to come out and admit he is interested in one of the few jobs left.



Now its out in the open we need to get him and the rest of his coaching staff out and move on. I would rather the club pay them off for remainder of their contracts and start working on our future whichever league that may be in. Would also be interested to see what the squad would do with some fresh ideas from the coaching perspective.

Agree with Snowie to make such a statement to the media 2 weeks before the franchise decision is really bad timing for us and tells you his heart is elsewhere and to be frank it probably has been for a while. He should have gone sooner, as I can't help thinking he hasn't been taking the job seriously since the Cas cup game and that is borne out by results and performance levels since.

Someone said AG and Jimmy E were avid readers of this forum, if so why havn't they acted on the crystal clear dissatifaction we have of mr kears managment attributes and managerial staff?

Maybe they have and told him no new contract regardless of whether we stay in SL and thats whats prompted is public expression of interest in the Cas job.
