If and it's an if Smith finds say Clawson to be totally incapable of doing the and as such making it impossible for Smith to do his do you really think he'll keep Clawson. Will he nelly he'll do as Smith asks because if he doesn't Smith will not hang around, doesn't need to and has a long history of doing just that.



Finally I doubt very much that Clawson has a contract as such, I suspect he is an employee plain and simple and can be sacked or got rid of as easy as any employee can. However neither of us know that for certain and let's not pretend we do. I'm not condoning it but just seen 4 staff made redundant and two freelancers got rid off and their so called 12 month contracts terminated with immediate effect. All done by the companies HR man who tied all the Union Reps and the odd Solicitor in knots - quite impressive in an evil kind of way,

When Clawson signed in september 2011 it was quoted at the time that he had signed a 3 year deal. I'm guessing he must have signed an extension for this season, how long for was never reported. Gilmour was reported as signing a contract until the end if 2016. Whether they can be just terminated or not depends on what is in the contract, but i'd be very surprised to see it happen. Hudson & Dickens both joined at the end of 2012 and there was no length of time mentioned but going by the others i'd hazard a guess they also have contracts. Carter doesn't seem the sacking kind to me, i doubt he will be getting rid of anybody before the end of the season.

Think I read on here that Hudson has done a decent job (one of the few at the club to do so) in his role with scouting young players. I'd look to shift Clawson Dickens and Gilmour before him.

I have a feeling Smith will be rooting out some bad apples in the dressing room first.

He made one mistake and that was the Shenton try, he allowed himself to be caught off balance allowing Shenton to come inside of him brushing him aside instead of making him go on the outside where he has the physique, strength and the speed to have put him where he should have been, into the advertising hoardings, other than that he can't be blamed for his team mates defensive frailties but then again it's easier to blame it on the winger.

Johnstone has got the pace and confidence to make a very good winger. Let's just hope he doesn't get muscled up to the point of not being able to run.

Think you'll find that most of the grown ups rate Johnstone very highly and have been calling for his inclusion in the team for some time.
