saints aren't all that this year. if we play like we did at warrington, and in the first half against catalans then why not?

allied to that we've had a two week rest and should be very fired up for the fixture as a result. we've seen new players coming in to the team so nobody can assume selection for the following weeks.

Can't agree with playing Washbrook at SO I'm afraid. I know it gives us more in defensive terms but I don't agree with putting out a team to try and keep the score down. We should be fielding the best side we can and trying to score some points ourselves rather than worrying about what Saints are doing.

Hopefully a 2 week rest has aloowed us to work more on defensive patterns and structure and let's rely on that rather than playing players out of position.

If we are going to win some games we are going to need to score points and I'm in favour of us trying to do that against everyone.

Confidence boost if we can score good points against St Helens is better for me than keeping their score low and us not scoring. I don't see the point of playing a team that is going to need to be changed around again when we play someone else. Let's find our best team and stick with it!!

Personally, i think we should go with a nothing to lose attitude and have a good go at them.

On their dat Saints are a top team and can score for fun but, we shouldn't play with fear.

I'd quite like to see WTW given free reign to 'express themselves' - chuck it about, take some chances and there might just be a slim chance of out-Saintsing Saints. In the worst case scenario, we get beat playing some enterprising rugby and some players might just discover some things about themselves that they weren't sure was there.



I don't think we'll beat them in an arm-wrestle, so in my view, it's not worth getting into one.

Sts are a shadow of their former teams the pack is nothing special and we should gointo the game without fear and play to win worse Wakefield squads have gone to Sts and played better Sts teams in the past and won 2003 so why not we just need to put a full 80 in for the first time this season
