| I know this wont happen, but it has in football......
imagine if the bulls win the Carvell case. instead of hull paying compensation, carvell goes back and "warms the bench" for 12 months, upsetting everyone in the camp while he does it.

| Interesting thing is that RFL are talking to other potential owners, so we could yet see all staff TUPE'd again. Now if for a player with tenuous connections to a small island country in the Med was thinking about getting out and has just seen Carvell legitimately walk away, they would have a clear route wouldn't they. Now if you were a double barrelled Kiwi who hopes to be in place whomsoever takes on ownership, you would want to try and keep the squad together, indeed you would be obliged to try and do so, making a statement and actually acting on it are two very different things.

Which OK Bulls or Bulls 2014? If he buys Bulls 2014, but it could get really messy if Bulls 2014 want to stay in charge. I would imagine that Bulls 2014 would have inserted a clause regarding SL licence transfer. If that does not happen does everything go back to OK Bulls and then out again?

| Surely the administrator should not have allowed the tupe of the players to bulls 2014 if he was still intending to consider other offers?

| Lots of smoke and mirrors going off at the Bulls.
A timely distraction to get the season underway without points deduction?

OK Bulls has no assets and no goodwill - it's as good as dead.
Lamb is looking to buy Bulls 2014 and everyone knows it.

| What about this for a theory.
OK Bulls in financial difficulties. £300k coming from SKY which they don't want to hand over to creditors including Omar Khan. OK Bulls Ltd placed in Administration by the 1 share not held by Omar Khan and a new company, Bradford Bulls 2014 Ltd established who take the players from OK Bulls Ltd under TUPE. The RFL give them a 28 day SL Licence whilst new owners are being looked into.
Now the potential new owner could buy into Bradford Bulls 2014 Ltd but he could also buy OK Bulls Ltd and pay some of the creditors, particularly the HMRC. But OK Bulls Ltd now have no players. Why would he do this ? Well what if Bradford Bulls 2014 Ltd is then placed in Administration and the players are transferred under a TUPE arrangement back to OK Bulls Ltd.
You now have OK Bulls Ltd continuing, with pretty much the same players and as its the existing company, not a new company, paid off major creditors (except maybe Omar Khan) avoids a point deduction (or gets away with 2 points).
May be way off the mark but I could not understand why a potential new owner would look to buy OK Bulls Ltd.

| The bloody cheek of them taking legal action. Just seen the carvel thread, can't believe that someone said they hope he has a career ending injury. That is disgraceful, but that just sums up Bradford.

But they could mitigate a points reduction by taking the same action re OK Bulls creditors anyway, in the same way we did in 2011. By buying OK Bulls, don't they risk losing the 300K?
Unless of course the RFL took the stance that the administration was a spat about ownership and not "true" administration, thus avoiding the need to dock points.
But where does that leave the current owners, who want the club but not Omar Khan, who of course would still be owed a shed load of cash.
No, the sensible way forward is to stick with the new company, promise stability, investment and repayment of creditors of OK Bulls to try and mitigate the points deduction, pocket the 300K and move on.
