Really? I'm just in Eastmoor and it's light here. If that's the case then fair enough, but i stand by i don't think we should have rushed to call the game off at 11am. If at say 2 or 3 there was nothing the club could do to play the game then it's out of our hands. It just seemed rather 'easy' to call it off and whilst rearranged for Sunday, it's highly unlikely that it'll be played then too

The main problem isn't the pitch or the roads it's the terracing

Still coming down heavy -ish in Ryhill. I wouldn't turn out for work in it. I would if pushed turn out for a rugby game. So how many fans from further afield would decide 'to give it a miss' and put the telly on instead?

Quite a lot I guess. Think it was the right decision. If they'd have said "game on" and then it got seriously worse (looking out of the window in Sandal it just has!!!) just as people began to travel they would have had real problems in playing OR calling it off.



I'd just used my "Bring a friend" coupon in the season ticket for a mate coming up from down South. He's got to go home Sunday morning. Hey ho.

Maybe tactical who knows .Its not an easy call ,There is alot more to consider than a game of rugby.

At what point do you delay the catering bringing the fresh food? At what point do you tell the bar staff and security staff the game is off? The later you leave it the more it will cost.



The forecast has been pretty well spot-on - suggesting that there will be more snow as the evening progresses.



I think it was a wise decision taken at the appropriate time. Much more sensible to take advantage of the Sunday slot - when there is time to clear everywhere of snow - and ensure that people have a much better chance of a) getting there and b) getting home!



Besides - it's bloody miserable out there!
