I agree a 5 year old could have written a better HoT in about 15 minutes. Problem is Box his relationship with Mackie going back over a number of years is too cosy for him to rock the boat now.

Just had a quick look at the heads of terms posted by the trust on twitter and main points I can see are names Walkers trust not the existing one and ties the trigger to build the stadium as when YC have planning approval for housing and built enough to fund the stadium build. No mention of this been on top of the newcold development to reach the original trigger point either.

Utterly depressing. I will join the protests but in all honesty, I suspect this will get us nowhere. As has been the strong likelihood all along, this stadium will not be built. It was never going to be built. I think the future of Wakefield Trinity now needs to be looked at over a far longer period. It is quite likely that we will lose our SL place. It is likely we will have to operate as guests elsewhere in the short to medium term. I do think we can get through this but it will, sadly, take a long time. I hope Michael Carter will stay with us on this but I would not blame him if he didn't. He has been the best leader we have had in my 47 years as a supporter. We need to look at other ways of getting a new stadium in Wakefield. 10 Million is not an insurmountable figure given enough time and somewhere to build the stadium. I think we need to enjoy our temporary swansong and plan for a longer haul away from this bunch of schisters. I am sick of them, heartily sick. I hope they get exposed and are made to account for their actions and if necessary, pay for their actions. But sadly I think we need to move on.

You would think the council would learn not to allow YC to lay another brick without a watertight agreement in place

I can't argue with anything you have just posted but I can help you with the time scale. We will only begin to think about a stadium once Box is no longer in power. Whilst ever he has control of our City he will do all in his power to make sure we get nothing.

When he eventually leaves then we may start to dream.

This is a totally different project. Are the houses as well as or instead of distribution warehouses?

No mention of community sports facilities?

Is a charitable trust also a limited company?

This is a really sad thing to think about but maybe it's time we did leave Wakefield and go somewhere where there is a better council.
