Got to admit I was very pleasantly surprised by the number of wakey fans there. A great day out , some brilliant banter and the boys did us proud.

We had a large Leeds chap sat at the front, kept showing us his belly, bloooooming huge belly and he went very quiet untill the end, a bit worried it may burst with him jumping up and down.

No jut laughed at him and to be fair he took it in good spirit.

Made me laugh when the Wakey crowd treated him to a rousing chorus of " You fat illegitimate person, you fat illegitimate person"



He was lapping it up.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and it was the most enjoyable Wakey atmosphere I've enjoyed for a good while. When so many on here said they were not coming I was pleasantly surprised by our turn out and I think it helped the lads.



Great songs, atmosphere and a match which generated a lot of excitement, definitely the best match of the seven.



Only downside was a Wakey fan at the back who at the end threw something (I suspect a plastic bottle) which rattled under the seats near the Wakey fans. He looked very narked off. I accept defeat like that is no fun for anyone, but I don't want bad losers like this in our fan base. We should be proud and sporting in victory, noble in defeat. Angry and potential trouble causing supporters are not something I want to see associated with our club, leave that to football.



Well done Wakey fans for a great showing and great voice. Hard luck to the team, I hope it is a sign of good things to come.

some leeds fans sat in front of us for your game and started singing that bloody annoying song, i asked them why they sang it considering it was a leeds utd song and the reply was that it was for both clubs! i then thought to myself that there was no point with a conversation with them continuing seeing as you cannot educate pork !!

The Leeds fans were like rats, nowhere to be seen or heard until the last 4/5 mins when all the folk around us who had said jack all for most of the game suddenly stoodup and started cheering and singing.......
