Gareth Moore has the ability to be a fantastic player given the chance. His kicking game is good and his goal kicking is even better, though he might have had a great job offer for work, aswell as his batley wage he would be earning more than he would be at wakey. I have worked on site with a load of championship players that are earning great wages from there trade and further boosting it by playing for their clubs.

Love how he has a dig at wakey but yet his back cover is him in a trin top.

And how he gets some criticism for it too. Some players forget that what they write on Twitter is public.

I know cockayne isn't very impressed with what he said and too right, Moore sounds like a right bell.

The funniest thing about his twitter comment is that Kear hardly played him last season, instead choosing to play Tommy Lee out of position, so why if they both came back, would he assume that Kear would play him?

That's fine, and if that's the extent of his ambition in the game, then good luck to him. He seems to be playing well at that level, from what I've read. Nowt against him and nowt against Batley, I hope he goes well there.



Did he have offers from other SL clubs? It's often a fair indicator of your potential as a player. Ben Gledhill found a new club quickly enough, likewise Danny Kirmond and any number of other players who weren't in the frame for one reason or another at their former clubs. Just wondering, like...

AGAR said on Yorkshire Radio last week that they have a budget to sign a prop and a goal kicking centre should the right players being available and add to the quality of the squad.



If the goal kicking fiasco continues and if Mellars continues with a distinct lack of form or Collis groin injury worsens that with anymore injuries to our converted 'props' (Wilkes,Raleigh,Southern) then things I think will change over the next few weeks and a couple of players will have to be signed....

......by gobbing off do you mean "organising a team that is very new and needs someone to take charge"? For me his "gobbing off" is what is giving us the small amount of cohesion we have got now.



As for the comments from Moore, shows me that he is not a supportive team player and we and he probably did the right thing. Wood is a far better player, just not at kicking.

Gareth Moore,Any one noted how many SL clubs created an avalanche to sign him.Yes hes doing well at Batley but is that his level of play.How many whino fans last year wanted another coach and thought they had been landed with one of the worst.Things will come good and once the players have had a few more games together we should be on the right end of results.
