I'm not a fan of the twitter stuff and the building up of events that has gone on.
I would further add that a lot of half truths and misinformation has come from the club possibly to cover up the current situation. This will make the clubs job of getting the support onside doubly difficult.
But there are two facts as far as I can see it.
1) whoever is on watch now, be that Michael Carter or whoever need our support to get things back on track, not our apathy.
2) turn our backs and the club may just disappear down the hole we all desperately fought against three years ago.
Together we are stronger- maybe that is only the case in a crisis???'"
Good post, i fear that there may be only 2 or 3 thou that understand the club, the rest want bother if we end up proper in the brown stuff |

Hey, Salford have known as much misery as we have over the years and I am pleased for the genuine Salford fans that they now have hope AND they are seeing the fruits of a true investor. I am forever grateful for what Andrew Glover has done for WT but it is now apparent , that clearly, he hasn't got the financial clout to truly invest in the club, to the required amount.
Good luck to you guys. As soon as my club is run with the ethos that bills are paid on time and we don't spend more than we earn then I for one will continue to support them even it we do drop -and I think we will. |

IF this is true about the state of the club then after all the rhetoric spouted from our management the damage will be irrepareable. Quite honestly i'm sick of it all and if Elston stays in any role after being the ceo of two financial meltdowns then they will not get another penny out of me. In fact do they do season tickets refunds as i am seriously regretting getting ours now. Quite honestly i've had enough of the lies.

Didn't JE say recently we were negotiating a contract extension with tim smith? If he did and the rumours are true, then it was a blatant lie as he must have known we could not afford to do so
Looks like our record of never being relegated from sl will end next year

Put a championship team on the park and you will be playing championship rugby - Newmarket (whenever that happens) or not. Doncaster, Leigh and Halifax play in great stadiums! |
