| Quote Scarlet Pimpernell="Scarlet Pimpernell"I consider that by finishing this season of all seasons in the top 8 will prove to be greater than where, because the middle 8’s were to be avoided at all costs. I would rather watch us lose in the top eight than endure the nerve shredding games 4 current SL club supporters go through.
The suggestion is that they are to go with one up one down next season which will benefit us with the squad we have.'"
I agree my hopes this season were top 8 and new stadium sorted so we’re halfway there. Hopefully a system change next season will help us stabilise and grow, the 8 system creates uncertainty and finishing top 8 should create more positivity rather than just avoiding middle 8s, 1 Up 1 down would be good.

Up the Trin'"
I made the initial post - it was an observation of Scott at that time in that particular game and not a criticism of him and how well he has played for us and was in response to the post that Max had cost us the game.....
He may have - but probably didn't, but if he did it was a "better" one to give away than the one last season v Saints in the Super 8's.
That was the point being made and not a case at having a pop at the player.

| I'm happy to have either, Grix or Jowitt at FB, they both have their strengths and weaknesses.
To suggest that one or the other shouldn't lace their boots for the Wakey team ever again or that one is hugely superior in every department to the other is quite frankly, ridiculous, but that's the currency we deal with here, the currency of extremes.
We're lucky to have 2 FB's of such good quality despite their faults.

| Grix is needed to organise the team therefore I would suggest playing him at loose forward. He is closer to the action and can help running the plays.

| Then we'll have a big hole in the defense.
Grix for Arona is worth about 30 tackles.

| I am not sure that he would weaken the defence but without trying we will never know for certain. I believe it is worth a go because if you are going to experiment this is the time and I do think we need an organiser. It would actually be Randall I would look to rest because I think Woods can play 80 minutes.

| I don't think Grix at 13 is any kind of useful experiment.
Just take your pick, play him at FB for his skills or......don't.
If you believe half the rubbish posted here, playing him at FB [iis [/ian experiment....

Grix is just not a loose forward, end of story and if he was to play there, we would lose both impact going forward and weaken our defence.
He can play 1 or 6 and if we were in really desperate times, maybe fill in across the three quarters but, loose forward ?? and playing him there just to ease a decision of Jowitt or Grix at FB is just ridiculous.
Our defence hasn't seemed disorganised, as such, we've just made some awful individual errors

| Playing Grix all over the shop was his downfall in his first stint at the club.
Playing him at fullback or leave him out.

| Quote Scarlet Pimpernell="Scarlet Pimpernell"You lose games, no players go out to play badly. We did what we needed to do this season with Jowitt at full back for a large part of it.
I suppose in a perverse sort of way I benefit from the fact that I have supported the club for long enough to watch both the good and really bad teams. The current squad is one of the best we have put together for about 20 years.
We have players committing long term to the club. We run various teams and are looking to put a reserve team out next season something Leeds a so called big club are complaining about.
I do not think that losing to St Helens requires a forum meltdown by some.'"
Ive thought this for a month now, but has someone hacked your account? You’re like a different man, or was that just with me?
