Excellent support from Phil Caplan on Twitter - unfortunately, Rod Studd, who spends a lot of time sucking up to MC, has decided to jump on the story as a way of highlighting the mistakes of previous boards, and banging on about the fact we should be sharing with Cas; he's also pushing the agenda that we want WMDC to provide us with a free stadium - which of course we don't.
Shame he opted to use his platform to stick the boot in, instead of getting behind the club and the City.

Yep. I noticed he also commented on Twitter that BV isn't actually the oldest sports ground in Sport and labelled the story '#FakeNews'. Wasn't sure whether to take this as 'banter' or defamatory, either way it's not really helping |

He's being a dick in my view - he has a platform, claims to be a supporter of MC, but uses the opportunity to steer the narrative away from the actual story, for the sake of grandstanding about the behaviour of previous Chairmen over the past 30 years. And his latest input is to blame the fans who supported those Chairmen!
So much for the often touted but actually non-existent, 'rugby league family' eh?! |
