It may be worth extending the loan with Escare who can also play on the wing….

I don't think Escare is our choice but let's not bin Murphy off just yet.

Dont know about his prowess on the wing but, he's certainly an excellent stand in at FB.

The biggest compliment you could pay him v Toulouse, is that you forgot he was playing (ie, no holes in the line, no dropped balls etc).

For a first game, he did very little wrong.

I agree it is a good squad when you can handle injuries and not miss them.

Yes I think we’ve missed them particularly Lineham vs Leeds and Toulouse… although if Kershaw or Tupou were fit we might not.

Both others mentioned played reserve grade … the trialist left the field injured… same game as Croft made his return from injury…

Are you serious!!! Of course we’ve missed them, I think the results alone tell you that. Against Leeds we needed an experienced winger. Gaskell craft would probably have helped in every game missed.



Your last comment is beyond daft, we have a squad of 30 and you expect us to use them all I five games? In gods name why would anyone think that! So in your mind we don’t want a settled team, we don’t want back up, success is measured by how many players get a run out, unbelievable!

Think the Leeds lose was more down to no centres than a winger not playing .not to say any thing about a 2O year old playing at stand off .
