Could play this silly game all day long. The fact is we are the first team in Wakefield to be in contention to win the league. Yeh we have been relegated twice but we have come back stronger so probably did us good.

That is why I failed my Geography O'Level as I have always believed Castleford was a separate town from Wakefield.

When you came back up through winning promotion from top spot in 2005 you were immediately relegated in 2006, when you were promoted again in 2007 and finished in 12th position, if SL had not expanded to 14 teams' you would have gone down again, so its a bit of a myth that you came back stronger. We also were in contention early in the piece to win the league but unfortunately fell away earlier than you did, (Fully's Law) I'm sure you will come back and let us know if and when you do manage to win something

It is indeed a seperate town but it is in the Wakefield district.

I can't even put the central heating on, so I haven't a clue what a 3G is, went to Perpignan the first 6 years' lost all interest now, hope the SNOW keeps away for you this year though

No point trying to prove Cas are not as good as they are.

They have had low times, and as much as you point it out, it doesn't detract from the fact they are at the top of a wave right now. It will be great for the smaller clubs for Cas to win something. I can't see League leaders shield but it's still possible in the last match of the season. If they get to the Grand Final I'll be supporting them over any other team in the top eight, without actually bringing myself to sing or cheer on their behalf.



I loved the comeback yesterday and would have been heckling on here if we'd taken the wind out of their Grand Final sails, but we didn't. So boasting about being better in previous years doesn't really help.
