Although Cas aren't in the same league as Shudds, I just don't see where our points will come from.

Even if we can improve our ball retention, which has been mickey poor all season, we are very, very, limited with attacking options.

Last season we won our last 7 games, this season we are likely to lose our last 7, talk about changing fortunes.

It's all become very depressing.

The point is it is possible, and that means the season hasn't been quite as bad as some think.

I can see us doing it but we'll need a massive effort.



I do think we need to sort the halves though.

I have been against throwing the kids in but Lee Smith isn't good enough at stand off and I'm happy with Goulding now.

We should either play someone like Mathers in the halves or lay one of the kids.

Smith back in centre.



It's still a game there to be won but I think it is clear we need something different and it can't be Cockayne coming off his wing.

My hope that Sykes is available. That would help Goulding out immensley and allow Smith back into the centres. Kay onto one wing and maybe try Lyne on the other, in his actual position because he ain't a superleague standard centre thats for sure. If Sykes doesn't make it then try Kay at stand off with BC on the other. Either way please no more Lee Smith in the halves.

Lee Smith needs to be put back to 4 as we can all see he aint a 6 thats for sure.Though we didnt look like putting any points on the score board against Hudds I would play Goulding again.If Sykes is fit go with him if not play Wildie who I think is a better 9 or young Kaye at 7.Tell the players to go out and enjoy the game and give something back to the fans who are not to blame for the situation in anway.

If you are to play him then the team on the field have to use him, they seemed to avoid giving him the ball yesterday, especially when it came to the kick - mind you we rarely got to the last tackle kick

We will have to disagree then. I think Lee Smith is a very good player. In a side full of good players that unfortunately are underperforming for a terrible coach.

I think he is eluding to Lee Smith being a stand off or scrum half, as IMO he is a quality centre and that is where he should be played

I think hes a decent player but looks extremely weak defensively and is not a SO. To be fair to RA, he doesnt have a lot of options does he? He's lost Sykes, Wood & Smith in the last few weeks.



Give the kids ago. I for one couldnt care less where we finish this year. Once we'd missed the 8 the league position was of little importance. What are we set to gain?? Bragging rights over Cas?? Not that bothered. Get the kids in and let them have a go.

12th. Not a chance we will beat C*s, and I had that opinion before what happened on Friday & last nights heartless performance.
