https://wakefieldtrinity.com/squad-to-face-warrington-named/Thought I saw Tommy Doyle on crutches in the latest episode of Inside Trinity so Smith to drop back into the matchday squad. Oli Russell or Lino to partner Trueman, player not picked to start to miss out. Matty Russell, Cozza and Myers to miss out.

| I'd be tempted to play Matty Russell after his big game against Leeds and this being his ex-team. Just think we could do with a change there and I'm not sure why Matty lost his place tbh. I thought DP said he'd come up stiff after the game, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him again.
Yeah,I saw Doyle on crutches as well, hopefully, it's nothing too bad.
Got to go with 4 props as well for me, Big Mike, Caleb, Atoni and Caius.Something like this.
1. Max Jowitt 24. Matty Russell 19. Oliver Pratt 4. Corey Hall 5. Tom Johnstone 6. Jake Trueman 20. Mason Lino 8. Mike McMeeken 9. Liam Hood 16.Renouf Atoni 17. Matty Storton 18. Isaiah Vagana 13. Jay Pitts
15. Caleb Hamlin-Uele 25. Jack Croft 28. Harvey Smith 31. Caius Faatili

I’d go the same except Cozza for Croft. Vagana and Storton both can do 80 mins so better to have Cozza to spell Pitts for 20 mid game.

" Thomas Doyle picked up a foot injury in the St Helens that will keep him sidelined for an extended period "

| Yeah, probably better to give Cozza a crack this week, he deserves a run-out. Croft got underused last week and is only just finding his feet in the backrow.

| Lino on the bench is a waste and Russell hasn't done enough to earn his place.
If we are letting Nax and Tom another chance then really Walmsley should too as they were worse than him.
And I think I'd play Smith as interchange hooker too.

| Agree with your first point, Lino and Trueman haven't done much wrong and Russel hasn't shown anything yet. No doubt he'll get his chance in the halves but not against Wire.
Matty Russell had a great first game of the season against Leeds and should have kept the place if it wasn't for a bit of injury. I know a few players in the backs had a bit of a mare last game but let's be honest, for TJ and Max it's very rare. Saying that I just think Matty's wing style will be suited more against wire, with his hard carries starting sets from deep, being better than Walmsley's.
