Thought I would open up a thread that we can use for all things NRL as many people will be watching the games each week and might want to chat about them or some of the players on show.

good move for me. it's all about building towards the world cup in 2013 and having 3 players who play nrl in the england squad can only be a good thing. IMO.

On this weeks games I thought the Cowboys were on the end of some really poor calls from the ref, great comeback against Manly, JT is on fire at the minute. Also love watching Wests when they are on that kind of form, rampant stuff.

Hasn't he just declared his intention to represent Australia?

Considering he was backing up from origin Darrius Boyd had a great game on Friday night, in fact it was a great round for full backs.

Agreed, but i was also very impressed with Orford's replacement, Hodgkinson (sp?)



They've unearthed a gem in that one. Commentary stated he was close to an Origin call after only 6 games!

he's top draw mate, manly aren't missing orford at all.



After pearce's performance for roosters hodgkinson will have to wait for a origin call.

When you consider the difficulty we have in generating creative halfbacks it is petrifying how they seem to produce them at will!

not really mate, nsw aren't blessed in the department (don't get me wrong they've got a load more than us) they've struggled to fill the roll since johns retired.
