Is it just me or is everyone writing Seymour off in the Rugby League World?



To my knowledge he is a very good player and certainly a better player in the NRL then Dobson who struggled to get a game over there.



Even my fantasy league they have him at the lowest price of 40k





I think he could have a massive season for us but people and especially those outside of FC dont rate him at all, and I find that hard to believe.



What does everyone else think?

I wouldn't let it bother you it's only a paper game ..the kid will show us and them what he can do on the

pitch for Hull FC

If he stays injury free and look after himself off the pitch I really do expect big things from him. He could be a real gem for us. It took some serious quality to keep him out of the Warriors team it should be remembered.

I'm happy he's keeping out of the headlines.



i'd just like to have at least one season where we have a fit no7 playing well every week and not attracting controversy.

Exactly. We've had a 'mare at 7 for years. If he stays fit and behaves himself, that in itself will be a new experience.

If he stays off the booze it may ensure he will delivers on the pitch and makes the headlines for all the right reasons.

That wil be down to the fact he doesnt kick goals and has a terrible scoring record.



Personally I think he will finally be the on pitch coach that we have lacked since Cooke left be it down to injuries or just simply poor recruitment.



The fact Seymour and Heremaia already know each other well is another added bonus.

Yes but there is alot of other ways to score points and the point is how can he be the cheapest seven in the league?

You dont play in a pivotal position like he has for that long in the NRL if you aint good.



I just hope he behaves and keeps focussed on his job and help us try and win stuff in the years to come.

Expecting big things from him. If he stays reasonably clear of injury we might at last see what we have been missing all this time.

Prefer that he's under the radar, we don't need hype.

He's already been announced as starting in the Rovers game (according to Hull FC twitter Ellis will start against York, for the Rovers game Horne@6, Seymour@7, Westerman@13) so he can't be doing too badly in training.

With his pedigree he should be best 7 in the league, not worst
