Anyone know how well they are selling ? With 3 games in Hull and the amount of RL fans in the area don't think it is unreasonable to have these games sell out. You can see both RL games at CP for £15. Many going to games on here ?

Not going to any of them. The lack of decent games in Hull is a slap in the face for the city and the East of the country

Don't think they can be selling that well. Had an e-mail from my son's school today saying the organisers were offering half price tickets to parents and pupils.

our work is offering half price tickets, only took the option for the England game for £7.50, like Jake said above, the rfl take the hull rl fans for granted ecpecting us to turn up or travel all over!

It will prove them wrong with empty stadiums then. Will really show them that will.

I personally think 3 games is a decent amount and an England game regardless of who they are playing.

We have an England game. How much bigger do we expect considering the big England games are all at stadia holding over 70k?!



Some people need to engage their brains before complaining.

The only international I'm really interested in is England v Australia, but the RFL see fit to play these games (if both qualify) at Cardiff and Wembley.

If that isn't a kick in the teeth for Mr average RL supporter, I don't know what is.

And if a large amount of RL fans in Hull have that attitude there won't be any international games for a good few years to come in the city. Hopefully you're in the minority.



England vs Fiji should be a cracker. Fiji likely to have star NRL players like Hayne, Uate, Civoniceva, Naiqama.



Then the two games for PNG vs Samoa & France will both be fiercely contested and decent games. Unless by 'decent' you mean any game not involving two of Australia, NZ & England?



There are plenty of games involving lesser RL nations, which would've been a bigger 'slap in the face for the city'.



If the World Cup has empty stadiums, then there's nobody to blame but RL fans themselves for not getting off their s.

I don't get why people are on such a downer about having the England-Fiji game, Fiji will have a strong team, and as soon as Australia/NZ name their squads a whole host of NRL players will suddenly decide they are Fijian.



with NZ not being in England's group, I struggle to see what other game people think the KC should have had? its a far better game than the Ireland game Huddersfield have got for example.

Spot on, glad I am not the only one enthuastic about the world cup. It really could of well attended boost our sport.
