Does anyone know if the club have one? I'm fairly sure we used to have one but I get the feeling its either not enforced anymore or it doesn't exist?



Do fans think we should have one? What would you like to see in it?

Turn up late for training and you can't smoke at training all week, only on evenings.



Have a bad game and you can only have 5 pints the night before a match.



Things like that y'mean

Only allowed to drink after a match (not enforced when players are on their end of season break), no smoking, turn up to training on time, dont beat your missus etc etc. Fall foul once a fine, fall foul twice your dropped to the reserves for a game and repeat until 5 times or whatever and your out the club. Hardly rocket science really

Not exactly no. I just wondered if it was actually written down somewhere that a player cant drink for say 3 days before a match for example? If it is written down somewhere are all the players aware of it? Are the consequences of not adhering to this policy clearly defined?

The [iimpression[/i is that there's nothing formal in place at all. Or if it is then it simply isn't enforced.

I doubt that it's actually written down but I am sure the players are aware of the do's and don'ts. As for enforcement it seems it's enforced on some and not others.

It's interesting that the Canterbury Bulldogs introduced a written code of conduct that all the players and staff had to sign up to and performances on the pitch have really improved.

I'm sure they are aware of some vague notion of the do's and dont's but I'd be willing to bet they dont know exactly what is and isn't allowed and even if they did I bet they dont stick to it.
