Supprised nobody has posted this yet but who ever was running the game at Widness today didn't have a clue. Around 200 seats in the end of the Hull stand were cordened off today as apparently their were 1750 seats available without them and Hull had around 1600 fans. The stewards wouldn't open the other area up and expected the 30 Hull fans who came in just before kick off to go and find all the odd seats in a pretty packed stand. When the Hull fans said they couldn't do this the ground staff sat all these fans infront of the stand, within 3 feet of the dead ball line! Infront of 200 empty seats. The only reason they offered was that their were enough seats.
Talk about stupidity, that is exactly how trouble starts!
Really hope that a picture makes it into the papers!!
On a lighter note Ropati for widness is some player!!

For some reason the stewards at Halton Stadium seem to think that we'll nick the seats. Whenever I've attended they have always been heavy-handed in policing that end |

got to agree with you the stewards are a bunch of over the top door handles,we arnt allowed to sit on the back row in the north stand either. great turn out from you guys well done.old faithful sounded great,good luck in the cup and well done, see you next year.

absolutely disgusting the "head steward" was winding people up from the start of the game, I've made a formal complaint to the club and also to Cheshire Police, I will not visot Widnes again, if they are better for SL than Halifax or Leigh then I'm a rovers fan.
There's nothing near the ground, the parking is shocking, the concourse areas are poor.
